WHY I BUILT FIGHTING STIGMA

I’ve worked in mental health services and seen first-hand how support doesn’t always meet people where they are.


Long waiting lists.

Rigid systems.

Environments that don’t feel right.


People don’t fall through the gaps because they don’t want help —

it’s because it doesn’t feel accessible.


That’s what stayed with me.


So I built something different.

This isn't therapy

This isn’t therapy.

It’s not a replacement for clinical support.


It’s something different.


A space built around movement, structure, and real connection.


A place where you can show up as you are —

and start feeling better.

I’m Tom — I run Fighting Stigma.

Just trying to give people a space to train, clear their head and build confidence.

MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE

This isn’t just about training.


It’s about how you feel when you walk in — and how you feel when you leave.


Most people don’t walk in confident. They walk in stressed, overthinking, or needing an outlet.


Movement gives you that release. 

A way to switch off.

A way to reset.


You’re not thinking about everything else — you’re in the moment.


Learning.  

Moving. 

Improving.


That's where change starts.
